"It seems strange to not know your name," Sephiroth said, "Can you give me a hint?"

Cloud thought for a moment, an glanced up at the sky. A few clouds were floating past and he smiled. He pointed at one. Thank goodness his name was simple. Tifa or Yuffie wouldn't have been able to do that.

"Sky?" Sephiroth guessed with a soft smile, "Well, that does suit you-no?" for Cloud shook his head furiously, "Not Sky?"

Cloud shook his head, and pointed up again.

"Something to do with the sky, then?" Sephiroth guessed.

Cloud smiled, and nodded.

"Alright," Sephiroth mused, "Something to do with the sky... blue, birds, rain - Rain?"

Cloud shook his head.

"But it's closer?" Sephiroth asked.

Cloud nodded.

"Rain... cloud?" Sephiroth guessed, and Cloud beamed and nodded again.

"Cloud?" Sephiroth asked again, "Yes?"

Cloud smiled even more widely, nodding enthusiastically. Sephiroth smiled back, and took his hand, "That suits you very well. Alright. Cloud."

I love you, Cloud thought, wishing that Sephiroth could guess that, too.
